Coronavirus Policy
The health, wellbeing and safety of our customers and our staff is our priority.
We understand that our customers are concerned about Covid-19 and we want to reassure you that we are monitoring the developing situation extremely closely and we’re following all advice issued by our industry experts and the Chief Medical Officer, Public Health Scotland.
Current government advice is that basic personal hygiene, i.e. handwashing, is an important part of staying healthy and protecting against the risk of coronavirus (Covid-19).
There have been no cases of the coronavirus (Covid-19) at our office premises. If this situation changes, we will act quickly to protect our customers, employees, and local communities.
We ask our customers to observe these steps, which are consistent with government advice:
- Please do not attend an appt with us if you are unwell
- Keep your hands clean, washed regularly and thoroughly, for at least 20 seconds with soap and water
- Wear a face covering when meeting indoors
- If you think you may have encountered the virus, please follow the government advice, and self-isolate in the first instance and contact NHS 111 for advice.
We are continuing to conduct business within government guidelines but have changed some procedures for the protection of our staff and customers.
Booking Appointments – Inspections, Viewings & Market Appraisals
As we arrange appointments, we will adopt Coronavirus Protocols as follows;
To limit face to face contact where possible, we are aiming to add videos to our vacant property listings so that potential applicants will have a better idea of the condition and presentation of the property before proceeding to book a viewing with us.
If required and appropriate we will offer a WhatsApp video viewing.
If required and appropriate we may be able to proceed to in person viewings on the following basis.
When you book an appt we will need to ask you the following questions in order to clarify risk;
- Are you experiencing any of the Coronavirus symptoms of Coughing, Fever or shortness of breath?
- Have you been in close contact with anyone either diagnosed with Coronavirus or who has returned from travel abroad in the last 14 days?
- Have you been advised to self-isolate by NHS 111 or your doctor?
If the answer is yes to any, a decision will be taken to postpone appointments and rearrange for a later date to ensure the protection of everyone involved.
Pre-Appointment
We will send you a confirmation email outlining our safety protocol procedures for the appt. We will ask that you reply to let us know that you have read it though.
We will include property details in this email, we will not give a brochure or property details to you at the appt.
We request that only person/s who will be on the potential tenancy attend the viewing.
